Archived: (ArmA Stargate - Mission Makers Release)
« on: December 28, 2007, 10:22:26 am »

This version has been archived and is NO LONGER SUPPORTED - All download links have been removed to prevent confusion

This addon will have a DHD only, so no dialing computer; many of the textures and animations will have flaws or be nonexistant but it will allow mission makers something to work with.

Heres a link to the release thread: http://www.stargateassault.net/forum/index.php/topic,2230.0.html

ITER was originally an acronym for International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, but that title was dropped due to the negative popular connotation of "thermonuclear", especially when in conjunction with "experimental".

Just gave it a try.
@Addon:
That's some impressive work you did on the textures and effects.
I'm glad to see that you managed to get the Kawoosh effect working.

@mission making:
the scripting-commands look very similiar/identicaly to the ones of the ofp-addon.
Maybe you create a little help file with this content:
- a list of scripts of the addon that the mission makers can use in his mission
- description of the arrays, and its parameters, that are used to run the scripts

Its a good idea, i'll try to put something together; yhough alot of the code is changing atm so i'll add it with the next release.

If you' like help scripting the ask here.

Just watch the video you created and linked in the BIS Forums.
Fantastic work, as usual.
And those huge spacecrafts (here: Ha'tak and the F304) Major Pain is working on, make a great scenery on the horizon.

was that in-air crash of the deathglider and the alkesh scripted or just good luck?  :biggrin:

oh, almost forgot here's the link for everyone:

THe crash was just pure luck, it was lucky though because i modified the gliders a little for the clip and there very dangerous.

I'll post a clip to show soon, credits of course to Major Pain; really i shouldn't have modified without his permission but i needed a clip and the modified won't be released.

Amazing work on the gate. :wink:

About the clipping ships, if you're not going to release them, at least tell MP how you did it, so he can replicate the results faster and move on to more important parts of the ships. :smilie:

Cheers
