Will you guys release any weapons , units and vehicles or just the gates. Cant wait to get my hands on a working Staff.

Or maybe someone has a link to one somewhere.

Also will this be compatible with ACE Mod.

EDIT: Also if i may make a suggestion when the gate opens you should re texture the event horizon so its not a puff of smoke but the same texture as the blue what ever you call it i forgot lol.

Just the gates this time round, once there in a working state we can ease back on there development and focus on other addons.

As for the ACE mod, it must be popular as your not the first to ask however we're not going to specifically aim at compatability (though we'll fix bugs) as we are a seperate mod.

Edit:

Quick question for you all, is anyone interested in the finer workings of the gates i.e. Specs, limitations, coding; or just in playing them?

ITER was originally an acronym for International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, but that title was dropped due to the negative popular connotation of "thermonuclear", especially when in conjunction with "experimental".

It IS popular... a lot. I use it whenever I get some of the very few times I can do some MP with my buddies.

im not interested too much in finer workings i would just like them to work like they do now, and some missions and MP compatable, all we really want to do is go on missions and kill jaffa!!!!

Hi all,

Don't worry the mods not dead we've just had to reprioritize a few changes due to the release of ArmA II.
Heres a clip from ArmA II:

As you can see the shaders for the gates are now slightly off so were working on a new Stargate model so sort both that and a number of glitches which are singlehandly resposible for the lack of release.

We are getting there, slowly but surely and we're talking about some major changes not just a stable version of the alphas.

ArmA II is much more picky about scripting being done correctly.
The end result of this is that if we get it working in ArmA II and do not reference any new commands, it will work in ArmA I, thus we've made a logical decision to develop within ArmA II and make it compatible with ArmA I.

Master Bra'tac beat Apophis in a game of chess. Using Mr Bun the Baker.

When Master Bra'tac fell from above and failed to learn to fly on the way down, Hannor Mir still became a street pizza.

I am from his home country this game, and frankly, so great in the Czech Republic do not have the addons, one can not simply work with Arma as well as yours, all glory.

//   But I want to ask to the extension will be possible to play as singlplayer and, therefore, will be editor of maps, new buildings, units, ships and everything possible? or it is only multiplayer, and mission?

it is singleplayer primarily mate, its proving hard work to make it MP compatable, but they are doing so :)

Erm... I wouldn't go as far as calling it a MMORPG, this is not WoW, lol.
