You MIGHT be able to use the mission makers' release for that.
Maybe. If it starts up properly.
Perhaps.
With no support from us.
It was mentioned further upthread that someone had imported the gate to ArmA II as something pretty to look at.

Master Bra'tac beat Apophis in a game of chess. Using Mr Bun the Baker.

When Master Bra'tac fell from above and failed to learn to fly on the way down, Hannor Mir still became a street pizza.

Oh yeah. No way is it actually going to work, but if you're just after something to use as a static prop that never dials, lights up or transports stuff then it might wrk. Maybe.

Who ever is developing the stargates, could they not release a static version of the Gate and the DHD, just the models essentially, so we can use them in missions and videos, I can tell from the videos they look good enough.....

I'm afraid not, if you actually look closely in the videos you'll see that the Stargates currently don't even have an inner ring.

Anyway being the sadistic bugger I am, I could just inform you all that the Stargate models and codes already been released... Infact the cutting edge code is instantly uploaded a public domain on each save (freely downloadable by anyone).

Now go... Hunt it down... Google is your friend

Googled and found the gates and config to download at Page 3, First Post. I know you posted the link in the "sacred halls" before, but it was fun to search after anyway. Alot of torrent scams came though. e.g. this one:

http://win7dl.com/download/Arma%202%20stargate%20mod.html

(Don't download, it's a scam)

Well simply put the Stargates are open source, they have been for a while now.

That means when ever I make a code change, I upload the change to a public domain, so other People can benifit from it.

And I'm assuming that the upload is an uncompiled source code version?

Well seeing as it links back to this site and has the SG:CE info on it as well as all the scripts from the advanced section on this website im pretty sure it is. Unless someone is trying to pass off your work as their own.
