Is there going to be a pegasus galaxy? If so are you able to show us pictures of the gate design?

Life and death, light and darkness, hope and despair. The rift was created, and on that day, the Ori were born. But the hatred of those who strayed from the true path festered and bloomed in the dark corners of the Avernakis to which they have been cast! And consumed by this hatred, they poisoned all they touched, bringing death, darkness and despair. And the souls of their victims knew no peace, until the Ori came and whispered to them: 'Sleep, for the end draws near!' And on that day all will rejoice, when the Ori come and lay them low  Hallowed are the Ori

Hallowed are the Ori.

We've got the framework for them, but we're dealing with the local gates first.

Master Bra'tac beat Apophis in a game of chess. Using Mr Bun the Baker.

When Master Bra'tac fell from above and failed to learn to fly on the way down, Hannor Mir still became a street pizza.

By local, I assume you mean "Milky Way" gates. Wrong or right?

Cheers

As he lay there, dying in the sun, the sand of desert all around him, Petaris spoke to the rock, not with his lips, but with his mind, and the rock wept tears of fresh water and his thirst was quenched.

Hallowed are the Ori.

@Major Pain:
You don't watch the show very carefully. There are no Oris in the pegasus galaxy.
The enemys there are the Wraiths.

One question that comes into my mind here: Do the Oris have stargates in their galaxy too?
They have the supergates, mobile and stationary versions of the ring transportes and huge spaceships.
But I don't remember having ever seen a Ori version of the normal stargates. Neither in the show, nor in the movie "The ark of truth".
If they don't have them, how do they establish a connection to the milkyway gates and send through priors (at the beginning of Season 9)?

@Apollo:

He doesnt want to have the whole pegasus galaxy, but only screenshots of the stargates there.
And later probably them as an addon.

Today's proverbial day it seems hehehe (hallowed, bros! :biggrin: ).

@Poweruser:
The team's never actually travelled to the Ori Galaxy before with the exception of some episode in S9, and Ark of Truth, and neither actually required a conventional stargate to be used, that's why we haven't seen any, but it's probable they have some version of stargates. I figure that, since they have visually modified rings, they probably have visually modified gates as well, or just use one of the currently 2 existing versions (MW and Pegasus). And it's possible that with their power, they were able to dial 9-symbol addresses too.

So, noone knows. Well, that leaves at least some room for imagination and being creative.

For traveling to another galaxy, only a 8-symbol address is required.
The third stargate series "Stargate Universe" is going to deal with the 9th symbol. link to gateworld.net

We're going offtopic, aren't we?

I know I know, I meant that they probably were able to use that as well, not that they had actually ever used it. That 9th chevron must have a purpose and I doubt the Ori actually missed it.

And sorry for the little OT, can't help myself hehehehe. :laugh:

Truth is elusive to those who refuse to see with both eyes wide.

Then did Tilius say to the people of the low plains: seek not the wickedness amongst your neighbors, lest it find purchase in your own house.

LOL ok I'll stop now.

MP u got a copy of origin lying around?

and no we haven't seen ori galaxy gates, I dnt think we even know what galaxy it is... It be ironic if it was the pegasus galaxy tho...

I like to think of them as fancy smooth gate the same colour as the ori ring transporters, a bit of imagination could produce some, but i dnt see the point...

Hallowed are the ori.
