internet

dont get to excited. in my opinion its very dissapointing.
sure its great because its a stargate movie but i expected the old stargate style instead of like the latest eps, O'neill had a much to small part, also it was like "yea were going to do that and that" one minut later wait that doesnt work lets just go through the stargate and try to reverse every thing.

the goulds dont look like the goulds anymore and technologie is to farfetched: common such a small device to power up a stargate, why were they using those big naquada generators for that

sorry it probably sounds a bit odd but im trying nit to tell any spoilers

Nope. Ba'al must have had it already in the real time line, as he brought it with him while time traveling.

I guess that it's a bad compromise they probably had to make, in order to be able to explain how Ba'al could dial back out without having a dhd. And it does more than just power the stargate, it's a dhd in the size of a pda.

Well remember by the end of the series earth had the ability to store the dialing program on a laptop. Ba'al could have better storage ability so a small device might work. Im not sure about the power thing though.

Look at a zpm. The goa'uld are scavengers (Teal'c words, not mine), so therefore ba'al could have made a variation of a zpm in that dialler.

it's wrapped around the spinal column but needs to be in the brain to take control of it.

A lot of goa'uld had swords or really big knives. Osisris had a knife "Summit" and "Last Stand".

Besides... it was Ba'al... he's no longer the usual Goa'uld, he's more like a human uber-criminal, but with lots of high-tech.

O'neill used a power cell from a staff weapon to help power a gate so maybe not so far fetched.
