Also I can only find the BxBx gate mod and I want the DSF

Oh... that was a thing with my game... I had so many mods installed (like 3 or 4 years of uninterrupted gaming in OFP), that trying to remove that one to make the video standard, would actually be a loss of time (I think it was ECP though). Anyways, the tools bar (units, groups, triggers, waypoints...) is in the top side in stock OFP (buttons with the F1-F2-F3... shortcuts), while I think the rest of stuff remains more or less in the same place.

And the old OFP stuff is here: http://www.stargateassault.net/downloads

This time I only installed the sg mod no puddle jumper or anything. But I have no option to place a gate in the editor. Everything works except I don't get any gates or DHD's in the editor everything else is there. Can I have a list of the Files I NEED to make it work.

To place unmanned units/objects you need to first place yourself in the mission (the unit you control in the game). When you do so, you should be able to place eveything else. If you're doing that, and you have the necessary donwloads, then it's probably a question of what and where you installed them. Be sure to read readme files and such.

Well I put them all in Addons, and the Missions in missions. and just to say, BXBX's mod didn't show any stargates in the units menu either.

The files of .PBO extension must all be in the root of "Addons", not within folders like "Addons\DSF_SG" and such. And, each of them has its own section within unit types. AND they're located in the "Empty" side of units.

ITER was originally an acronym for International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor, but that title was dropped due to the negative popular connotation of "thermonuclear", especially when in conjunction with "experimental".

Thanks... it's been up for some time now... I initially intended to cover all aspects of the gates, and these were the first chapters... unfortunately, my studies got in the way, and additionally, I ended uninstalling OFP to make way for ArmA, so the tuts for OFP are currently a disbanded op. Still, if the gates in ArmA prove to be as difficult to enable, I might consider doing some tutorials for it too.
