so  to  auto dial a gate you must put this line in a triggers init line

[G1,"ABYDOS"] EXEC "\DSF_SF_DHD\SQS\AI.SQS"

------------------------------------------------------------------------
And to auto iris add this to earths dhd/pult init line

[nearestobject [player,dsf_gate"]] exec "\dsf_sg_dhd\sqs\auto.sqs"

----------------------------------------------------------------------

ok mate

There's an array called DSF_OverOpen, or something like that.
With any luck, the name of it is mentioned in the readme that comes with the stargate and that the version you're running has it in it.
I can't remember the exact syntax off the top of my head; you need to add the gate's object to the overopen array.
One of the lot that are still working with OFP may be able to help.

(Historic note: That functionality was put in to support the Anubis gatekiller)

I remember having seen that functionality too... but I think it just affected one gate, and at the time, it seemed to me like it was sort of a decorative or cinematic function. Sadly I don't remember what was it like either. I might have it in some script though, I'll have a look at it later.

The idea was that if you added a gate to overopen, it would stay open over the 38 minute window.
It would then close as soon as it was removed from overopen, or after 38 minutes, whichever happened first
