Most of the addons released for ArmA are Alphas or Betas for the moment. That means released, but UNFINISHED, so they contain errors and unimplemented stuff, like the iris, not yet present in the addon until the code is fully finished to work safely on Earth gates. That's why there isn't a dialing computer on a table either.
