Beginner Guide

Hi Guys,

i have searched now for 2h in this Forum for a Guide that helps newcomer in Arma   &  SG-Mod, but i dont found anything. Perhaps there is one but then it isnt clear enough.

So I m asking u Guys can u Help us & me and make a Guide/Tutorial, for what some1 need for running Sg-Mod and cruising in a HaTack or like this? ?

Are the Hataks out yet?
As for the gates, the current released version isn't a finalised one, as such it is undocumented and designed for people that have had experience of such in the past.

A begginer's guide might be made in the future, when we have final versions of, at least, the stargates, being as they are the core elements of the mod. But stuff like that has to come in time, with no hurries.

To properly set up gates with the current versions, I'd recommend having previous experience with the OFP gates, how they were set up and used back then, and some scripting/editing knowledge to know your way now with the newer games (ArmA1/2), as current versions of stuff are unfinished, ready for experts, but not so ready for end users.

ok so is there any thing i need to have before i use any of the mods? and after that how do i actualy use any of the mods? like what folder or place i put it? im new to this but i want to use the stargate stuff!! plzz help me! thx u all.  :p

Have a look at these tutorials, they are for OFP (Operation Flashpoint), the predecessor, but still apply:
You just have to switch every OFP or Flashpoint mentioned in the tutorial for ArmA.
