Ship help Arma2
« on: March 18, 2010, 06:09:30 am »

Hey, first off i want to say that i've been following your collective progress on all things stargate and i want to say how much i appreciate all the work your doing for us

I recently downloaded the ships for arma2 (alkesh, teltak) and placed them in their respective folders and selected them in the launcher... but for some reason i can't find them. i go into the editor and i've placed every single unit from every faction and no sg ships

any help to get these wonderful creations working would be greatly appreciated

P.S i also downloaded the sg units but it says it needs arma2 v1.08 i think.. is there an update for this mod i don't know about?

All you have to do is put the .pbo files from the rar package into the addons folder and that should be it.

Your problem description tells me that you try to run the addons for ArmA1 in ArmA2. You downloaded the wrong ones.

I think i may have downloaded the wrong sg unit, but i know i definitely downloaded the arma2 versions of the ships, rings and CBA i put all files in their own folders (e.g @teltak > AddOns) as well as putting all files in the root/addons folder just to be safe..... but still no ships. is there any particular map i need to be using in the editor? Also just so i know, what faction/units do the ships come under in the editor?

Thanks for the quick replies
