Aliens out to get us?
« on: April 29, 2010, 04:46:39 am »

I dont know if anybody here has been watching the series with stephen hawking, but he recently said that aliens might just want our resources. It got me thinking about aliens in the stargate universe like the asgard and ancients who are advanced enough to just wipe us out without breaking a sweat. In real life if we had something they wanted or needed would they peacefully negotiate for it or would they just take it. Hawking painted a rather pessimistic view of aliens not unlike Independence Day. Any thoughts?

Well there's probably good aliens and bad aliens out there... and then there's good aliens that may be desperate? So it all depends on the aliens view/morals/race/situation but most likely whoever comes here has to power to wipe us out.
