ships issue
« on: July 09, 2010, 10:06:19 pm »

I should have waited till I installed all the mods before I posted my first help topic. Whenever I use the rings to go to either ship (or even get in the telkak without the rings) then I am suddenly placed very high up in the air, and I fall to my death. I figure it has to do with the reported bug that the rings are in the wrong position on the ships, but even when I place the temp. fix code in the initialization line, the same thing still happens. (also, is there a permanent fix to the bug yet?)

If your trying to use the ships on the "Worlds" map they dont work right for some reason. There isnt a fix for any of it right now and its pretty doubtfull that there will be.

Ships + rings = street pizza

Master Bra'tac beat Apophis in a game of chess. Using Mr Bun the Baker.

When Master Bra'tac fell from above and failed to learn to fly on the way down, Hannor Mir still became a street pizza.

ahhh, I see, oh well, at least it works on some maps. As long as this thread is open, when I order people to the rings, they go to the rings and stay about 5 feet away from them, but wont go any closer.

Im not sure about that problem. I havent had any trouble with the Stargate SVN on either vista or xp. Maybe your ISP is blocking it.

I was able to get everything else, just not certain files in the one folder, I'll keep working on other solutions. Might try using my aircard.
