« on: July 11, 2010, 03:25:10 pm »

Hi :D
This is my first mission with this mod so tell me if you find any bugs and you can give me some tips to improve my mission :p

For this mission you will need "Worlds" Island, jaffa, SG units, malp and stargate addons.

PS: sorry for my Inglish

For your first mission its pretty good I think. However you might want to think about putting some abandonded earth defences around and maybe some bodies to add to the atmosphere.

xxl, to download the svn on windows, you need the tortoise svn client.

Also, how do you install this mission? do you just put it in the addons folder?

I'd tend more towards the missions folder?

Master Bra'tac beat Apophis in a game of chess. Using Mr Bun the Baker.

When Master Bra'tac fell from above and failed to learn to fly on the way down, Hannor Mir still became a street pizza.

I know, but it's a .pbo file, and at least the mission I made in the editor did not have a .pbo file in it, only an sqm

Once you "export" your missions to missions folder and mp missions folders they get packed into pbos

Indeed   ...

Nice mission, thanks for uploading. I like you implemented taskhints and radio chatter, alot of debuts forget some of these.

As for suggestions - if you feel like it - maybe add a small delay between the fighting such as a short walk or a intro? Right now the combat starts right up. Intros aren't that hard to make, it's just umcomfortable in the beginning.

There exists a director addon to help with that, but to be honest I failed using it and I'm sticking to the manual method.

See this one for the director addon:

I like idea of a walk towards the fighting rather than straight away lol, intros are cool but not completely nessessary if briefings good

Oh and btw i have the svn now, so you can put the stargate back in the mission, would be nice to see it :)
